Radiation control
Controlling unwanted radiation is as crucial as creating an aseptic environment. DDC not only concentrates on the health of its patients but also takes care of their companion and its own staff.Usage of DC X-ray technology in combination of RVG (digital X-ray) having following advantages:
- [1] Low frequency of scattered radiation:
Creates a protective environment for patients, their companions and staff from unintended exposure to harmful X-rays.
- [2] Usage of hand held digital X-ray:
This decreases the exposure frequency to 1/100th of conventional X-rays. In fact hand held digital X-ray is so mild that it is even secure for pregnant women
AT DDC ALL THE INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS OF STERLISATION AND
HYGIENE ARE METICULOUSLY FOLLOWED
USING DISPOSABLE INSTRUMENTS
Many of the commonly used items are disposable and hence transmission of communicable diseases is not possible. For eg the suction tips, suction tubing's, syringes, gloves, patient drapes, are some of the examples
COLD STERLISATION
Those instruments which cannot be subjected to high temperature at high pressure are subjected to cold sterilization. 5% sodium hypochlorite is used for this type of sterilization. Instruments are immersed in this liquid for 20 minutes and this effectively sterilizes instruments.
USE OF DISINFECTENTS
Commonly touched areas are frequently painted with disinfectants to keep the area clean. Table tops, door handles, switches, water taps ECT are cleaned like this.
